Are you a Qualified Electrical or Electronic Engineer with experience in heavy rotating equipment?

We are working with a global, $multimillion client who are technology innovators, custom manufacturers, and electrical systems trouble-shooters for heavy industry. They design, engineer, produce, and service industrial power systems and control systems, specialising in electric rotating machinery for high-demand applications across mining, mills, and heavy industry. Due to global growth, they are looking for multiple Electrical Field Engineers across the USA to be home based with extensive travel to client sites.

These Electrical Field Engineers roles will report to the Engineering Manager and be responsible for providing technical services as it relates to routine and moderately complex maintenance and/or repair of control systems and their components at customer sites or company locations. We are looking for candidates in Washington, Wyoming, Utah, Florida, and Nevada.

Key functions for this Electrical Field Engineers are:

  • Providing technical, field engineering services for customers.
  • Diagnosing and troubleshooting issues as they relate to control systems and their components at customer sites or company shops.
  • Providing after-hours support in person and/or over the phone.
  • Directing or providing on-the-job training as needed.
  • Preparing or supervising quotations for assigned projects.
  • Conferring with shop managers, supervisors and office personnel to coordinate work.
  • Overnight travel required.

Essential requirements are:

  • A Bachelor's degree in electrical or electronic engineering.
  • Strong experience involving PLC's.
  • Experience with heavy rotating equipment within the mining, metals and/or heavy industry.
