Have you got experience working with the likes of Walmart, Target, TJX, Kohls, Walgreens and other large American retailers?

Are you happy to visit America 2-4 times per year, where needed?

I am recruiting for an established Toy business, who are looking for a UK based Salesperson to act as a US Business Development Manager and help them further grow their US business. They already have great success in the US markets, but are looking for further sales growth.

The Role

As the US Business Development Manager, you will play a key part in representing the company and the products in the US market. You will build key business relationships with American Grocers, Retailers and High Street Stores. You will showcase new product launches, negotiate business terms and place orders directly with customers.

  • Build strong relationships with US based Customers
  • Outline new business development opportunities in the US
  • Grow and nurture a number of Grocery and Retail accounts
  • Showcase new product launches
  • Take international visits to meet with customers
  • Working closely with a sales rep
  • Prepare a focused business plan for the market

Key requirements

  • Existing relationships with US retailers, grocers and high street stores
  • Industry knowledge of consumer goods/product led category
  • Interest in Toys, Gifting or Puzzle
  • Confidence in working independently
  • Able to demonstrate key account growth within current or previous role
  • Strong relationship building skills
