Sr Medical Director - Ophthalmology

Director, Clinical Development - Remote (US)

We're looking for a Director, Clinical Development to play a key role in shaping and advancing our clinical programs in ophthalmology. This fully remote position offers the chance to lead high-impact trials while collaborating with cross-functional teams dedicated to innovation and patient outcomes.

What You'll Do

• Lead the design, execution, and reporting of clinical studies (Phases I-III) through NDA submission.

• Serve as Medical Monitor, guiding safety reviews, endpoint development, and patient selection.

• Oversee creation of key clinical documents (protocols, IBs, CSRs, regulatory submissions, presentations).

• Partner with Clinical Operations, Data Management, and external stakeholders to drive trial success.

• Represent Clinical Development in cross-functional teams, regulatory meetings, and with KOLs.

What We're Looking For

• MD required; ophthalmology background preferred.

• 2+ years of clinical development experience in biotech/biopharma.

• Strong knowledge of FDA guidelines, GCP, and regulatory requirements.

• Experience developing protocols, study reports, and submissions.

• Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills.

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, remote environment.

• Willingness to travel up to 25%.
