Responsibilities
- Manages time and schedule on a daily basis to ensure territory is effectively covered and supported.
- Responsible for the understanding, coverage, and development of the market within assigned territory and/or accounts.
- Prospecting calls, appointments, presentations, proposals and closed orders.
- Assists in developing business plans and sales strategies for territory
- Initiates and coordinates development of action plans to penetrate new markets.
- Ensures customer commitments are executed as planned to ensure complete customer satisfaction.
- Interacts with customers and engineers on pre-sale activities
Experience
- High school diploma/GED is required; Associate's and/or Bachelor's degrees are preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of previous capital sales, B2B sales, or other relevant sales experience
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with individuals and groups
- A valid driver's license is required.
- Ability to travel up to 50% of the workweek
- Must have access to reliable transportation.
