The Regional Sales Manager will be responsible for business-to-business sales and relationships in the region, including "key" main contractors, subcontractors and civils merchants / builder's merchants. The Regional Sales Manager will work alongside the Stockist and Specification Manager supporting general merchant / stockist activity as required and drive Commercial type sales through this sales channel.
KEY DUTIES
- To improve sales revenue and profitability of customer accounts in the region.
- To enhance performance of customer accounts and develop strategies for maintaining and improving relationships with key decision-makers.
- To fully utilise the company's CRM system to record and analyse customer account information and promote 1st class customer service.
- To work effectively with all other functions of the business including internal sales, credit control and despatch to ensure the highest level of customer service.
- To work closely on core product sales with other members of the team to ensure sales are maximised wherever possible.
- To accurately forecast customer demand and requirements to enable effective operations planning.
