Regional Account Manager - OEMs - Mining

Have you a strong track record of solution sales with process OEMS?

We are working with a global, multibillion-euro company who are leaders in providing energy and automation digital solutions, with an aim to be a digital partner for sustainability and efficiency. Due to growth within their Mining, Metals and Minerals team they are now looking for a Regional Account Manager - Mining, to be based in Germany or the Nordics.

This Regional Account Manager - Mining role will report to the Vice President - Segments & Strategic Accounts for Europe and be responsible for the growth of of the process OEMS business globally across MMM sub-segments of Mining and Minerals.

Key responsibilities for this Regional Account Manager - Mining are:

  • Developing the growth plan of the MMM process OEMs in conjunction with business objectives, focused on prescription, specification, pipeline generation and order intake.
  • Developing executive level relationships with key process OEMs, establishing commercial frame objectives and mutually agreed business objectives.
  • Defining the prioritization of process OEM to focus on, considering impact on accounts and countries
  • Building a strong network of sales & pre-sales team in countries, capable to promote our UVP's into the MMM process OEM's.
  • Developing the MMM commercial ecosystem in order to accelerate business through process OEMs
  • Specifically taking a full solution view in order to deliver an end-to-end value proposition to the selected process OEMs.
  • Mastering the key differentiators of software, sustainability and services and bring this to the process OEM environment.

Essential experience

  • A strong understanding of the mining industry and key players.
  • Strong experience in global sales/account management for End-Users or Process OEM's / OEM's and related customer type.
  • Experience with Process OEM's (either working for one or selling to)
  • Knowledge or previous experience in complex solution selling
  • Technical and sales expertise will include innovative digital solutions relating to industrial automation, energy management and energy automation (hardware and software).
