Role Overview: As a Contract Project Manager, you'll play a crucial role in overseeing and managing research projects within our contract research organisation. Your responsibilities will span project management, vendor coordination, and contract oversight.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Vendor Management:
- Identify suitable vendors for research projects.
- Facilitate the vendor proposal and review process.
- Collaborate with contract owners to determine vendor and contract needs.
- Project Oversight:
- Monitor contracts throughout the development process.
- Efficiently manage communication and status updates from draft to execution.
- Ensure vendor deliverables align with contract terms.
- Financial Reconciliation:
- Handle financial reconciliations with vendors and sites.
- Archive executed contracts.
- Compliance and Tracking:
- Ensure adherence to corporate contracting policies.
- Track active contracts, especially expiration dates.
- Provide 60-day notice for pending expiration's.
- Subject Matter Expertise:
- Serve as an expert on corporate and business operations contract processes.
Qualifications:
- Education: Relevant degree (e.g., Bachelor's or University Degree) in Engineering, Business, Project Management, Computer Science, Education, Marketing, Business Administration, Management, Technical, or Architecture.
- Certifications: Consider certifications such as PMP, PMI, ITIL, CRM, CSM, LEAN, BSC, ACP, CSP, or LOMA.
- Skills:
- Robotics, industrial engineering, and operations management.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products and advanced Excel.
- Familiarity with MS Project.
