Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
- Builds capability of the line team to understand losses through data.
- Identifies and addresses safety risks related to top stops (equipment interaction) and changeover activities.
- Health of PCL system: Leads identification of centerline targets, documentation of standards, and coaches the Line Team and technicians through execution, problem-solving, and change management.
- Ensures the line/system is meeting product attributes and process parameters that drive them.
- Supports development and leads execution of the 90-Day improvement plan to deliver the glidepath through loss elimination.
- Owns the Centerline Process and library for all equipment within the PCL team, and responsible for coaching and developing operators in the use of CL within the team.
- Applies advanced data analysis tools to expose and eliminate losses.
- Changeover management system: Leads closing the gap against specific metrics (Human and Food Safety, MTBF, overuse, etc.), timeliness, and success of changeovers.
- Supports development and leads execution of the 90-Day improvement plan to deliver the glidepath through loss elimination.
- Understands the management of Quality Systems and is familiar with SQF, HACCP, and GMP practices which help ensure the safety within the workplace and the production of a safe and quality product(s).
What You Bring to the Team:
- Bachelor's degree preferred, with a strong preference for Engineering degrees.
- 3-5 years of relevant manufacturing experience.
- Must have a flexible schedule.
- Must be willing to work overtime, including weekends if necessary.
- Proficiency in MS Office and basic PC skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Working Knowledge of Ovens, bakery equipment, and packaging equipment.
- Bilingual and can read, write, and speak English/Spanish.
Physical Requirements/Work Environment:
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is expected to actively participate on the production floor.
- Use hands and fingers to handle objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms.
- Ability to stand, reach, stoop, kneel, or bend.
- Employee must lift up to 75 pounds and is required to ask for assistance if limit is exceeded.
