As the Operations Manager, you will oversee all aspects of greenhouse operations, ensuring efficient, high-quality production of produce. You will be a strong leader with a background in agriculture, horticulture, or a related field, and a proven track record in managing complex operations. You will work closely with various departments to optimize processes, manage resources, and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Operational Management:
- Oversee daily operations of the greenhouse, including planting, harvesting, and packaging.
- Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to enhance efficiency and productivity.
- Monitor and manage inventory levels, ensuring timely procurement of supplies and materials.
- Coordinate with maintenance teams to ensure all equipment and facilities are functioning properly and safely.
Team Leadership:
- Lead, mentor, and manage a diverse team of employees, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- Conduct regular training and development programs to enhance team skills and knowledge.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and promote a culture of safety within the team.
Quality Control:
- Implement and maintain quality control processes to ensure produce meets company and industry standards.

- Work closely with the Quality Assurance team to address any quality issues and develop preventive measures.
Financial Management:
- Develop and manage operational budgets, ensuring cost-effective use of resources.
- Analyze financial reports and provide insights to senior management to support decision-making.

Strategic Planning:
- Collaborate with senior management to develop long-term operational strategies.
- Identify and evaluate new technologies and methods to improve production efficiency and sustainability.

Customer and Vendor Relations:
- Maintain strong relationships with suppliers, vendors, and customers.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Horticulture, Business Management, or a related field.
