A global equipment manufacturing leader with a strong engineering and innovation focus is seeking a Mining Excavator R&D Expert to lead the development of next-generation large-scale mining equipment for global markets. This is a high-impact role focused on delivering world-class reliability, performance, and innovation in extreme mining environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Leading end-to-end R&D of mining excavators, from concept and product definition through testing, mass production, and market launch
• Tackling complex engineering challenges related to heavy loads, extreme temperatures, and harsh operating conditions
• Defining competitive, customer-driven products to compete with global industry leaders
• Driving innovation in reliability, intelligent systems, remote control, and autonomous operation
• Building and strengthening independent, core technologies while leading high-performing R&D teams

Key Requirements

• Senior R&D leader or core technical expert from a globally recognised mining excavator manufacturer
• Proven experience delivering mining excavator products from concept to market
• Strong background in mechanical engineering, hydraulics, automation, or related fields (Master's degree or above preferred)
• 10+ years of relevant R&D experience, with significant team leadership exposure
• Global technical vision, customer-centric mindset, and the ability to turn complex challenges into breakthrough solutions
