CSG Talent are looking for a Mechanical Engineer who will responsible for directing and coordinating the discipline technical effort on small to large mining projects. You will work on projects of limited scale and complexity, applying various standard engineering methods to solve problems while having scope for independent accomplishment and coordination of tasks.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

• In a supervisory capacity, develops, coordinates and directs a number of small projects or one project of major scope and importance.
• Reviews and upgrades budgets and schedules.
• Collaborate with team members in planning manpower requirements.
• Assists in understanding and applying basic mechanical engineering concepts under guidance.
• Assists with the development of budgets and deliverables list on proposals.
• Promotes and ensures inter-discipline communication at all levels.
• Uses and promotes the use of existing design data to standardize design efforts from one job to the next.
• Make reccomednations for increased resources and special equipment.
• Exercises initiative in adapting and applying procedures to address unusual situations and to resolve issues.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's Degree - Mechanical Engineering +PE desired
• 5-10 years Experience with mineral and metal processing projects, ideally as a senior or lead engineer
• Design experience
• Experience in Pipe spec or pipe stress analysis
