I am currently engaged with a reputable, fast-growing geotechnical consulting firm to identify experienced Geotechnical Engineers and Project Managers across several U.S. regions. These positions offer the opportunity to lead complex geotechnical investigations, manage project delivery, and work directly with clients on a wide range of infrastructure, land development, and environmental projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage geotechnical investigation programs from scope development through final reporting.
- Perform and review geotechnical engineering analyses, including slope stability, settlement, groundwater, foundations, retaining structures, and earthwork.
- Oversee field investigations, drilling oversight, and construction phase services.
- Prepare geotechnical reports, proposals, technical memoranda, and project documentation.
- Lead project teams, mentor junior engineers and field staff, and support hiring needs as required.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, clients, and subcontractors to ensure seamless project execution.
- Support business development activities, including client meetings and development of new project opportunities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering (Master's preferred).
- PE or the ability to obtain licensure within a reasonable timeframe required for project management roles.
- 5-10+ years of geotechnical engineering experience, depending on level.
- Demonstrated experience with geotechnical fieldwork, lab testing programs, and engineering analyses.
- Strong understanding of applicable codes, standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent technical writing, communication, and project management skills.
- Ability to oversee multiple projects, manage budgets, and meet deadlines.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to project sites as necessary.
