You will lead a team of 15 environmental professionals, drive regulatory and internal compliance standards, strengthen relationships with regulators and communities, and contribute to major environmental initiatives.

Key Focus:
- Lead implementation of enterprise environmental strategies, standards, monitoring programs, and reporting systems.
- Drive compliance performance, ensuring all regulatory, voluntary, and internal requirements are met.
- Provide site leadership with clear visibility of environmental risks, KPIs, performance trends, and priorities.
- Oversee environmental domains including tailings, water, waste, closure, acid mine drainage, and permitting.
- Lead internal and external audits and ensure timely reporting and action closure.
- Build capability within a team of national environmental professionals.
- Strengthen relationships with local regulators, community groups, landowners, and stakeholders.
- Support major upcoming projects, including expansion permitting and marine monitoring programs
- Lead community-involved monitoring initiatives to build trust and transparency.
Core Competencies / Qualifications:
- Degree (Bachelor or Master level) in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, or related discipline.
- 10+ years environmental leadership experience in large-scale mining or processing operations.
- Strong background in compliance, permitting, monitoring programs, and reporting.
- Experience operating in developing nations (e.g. SE Asia, Pacific, Africa).
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills, including with regulators and communities.
