Location: USA Remote (with regular travel to China & South America)

Our client, a fast-growing clean technology company, is seeking a Chinese speaking Director of Manufacturing to take innovative hardware solutions from prototype to scalable, cost-effective production. This role will lead global manufacturing strategy, build strong partnerships with international suppliers, and ensure smooth integration across engineering and operations teams worldwide.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drive design-for-manufacture and scale-up strategy.
• Partner with Chinese manufacturers and align with global R&D.
• Establish QA/QC processes and supplier audits.
• Optimize supply chain and cost models for efficiency.
• Support international pilot deployments and resolve manufacturability issues.

What You'll Bring:

• 5+ years in manufacturing leadership (Automotive, Battery, Hardware, Clean Tech)
• Experience scaling prototypes to production.
• Strong background in global supply chains, especially in China.
• Expertise in process engineering, QA/QC, and cost optimization.
• Engineering degree (MBA a plus); Chinese language skills is essential.
