Job Title: Business Development Manager - Leading Facilities Management Company

Location: Northern UK (with travel to London)

Salary: Up to £75,000 base salary + bonuses

Position Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to drive growth and expand our market presence. The ideal candidate will be Northern UK-based and will be responsible for selling our services into private clients and the manufacturing sector, with regular travel to London.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute strategic business development plans to achieve sales targets and expand market share.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the private sector and manufacturing industry.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with potential clients, industry partners, and key stakeholders.
  • Lead the sales process from initial contact through to contract signing, ensuring a seamless transition to operational teams.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends and opportunities for growth.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and proposals tailored to the client's needs.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure client expectations are met and exceeded.
  • Monitor and report on sales performance, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

  • Proven track record in business development, preferably within the facilities management or related industry.
  • Strong network of contacts within the private sector and manufacturing industry.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and implement effective business development plans.
  • Self-motivated, results-oriented, and capable of working independently.
  • Willingness to travel regularly to London and other regions as required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (preferred).
