Business Development Manager

About the Position:
We are looking for an experienced and goal-oriented Business Development Manager to join our sales team in Victoria. This role offers a compelling chance to expand our presence in public spaces, retail, education, and design sectors within the Victorian territory. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with direct clients such as councils and retail groups, along with Landscape Architects and designers, to specify our products for commercial projects.

Responsibilities:

• Cultivate and nurture relationships with existing clients while identifying and developing new business opportunities.
• Work in collaboration with Landscape Architects, councils, retail groups, and other stakeholders to advocate for and specify our products on commercial projects.
• Provide guidance and educational support to customers on a variety of standard and customized solutions.
• Collaborate with internal teams, including sales support, production, logistics, and finance, to achieve shared objectives.
• Maintain accurate project pipeline management and customer opportunity tracking.

Qualifications:

• Sales experience targeting Landscape Architects, Architects, Interior Designers, public space specialists, retail groups, Education, and Councils.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence, educate, and advise customers.
• Proven track record of achieving sales targets and effectively managing customer relationships.
• Passion for architecture and design with a meticulous attention to detail.
• Strong time management and organizational abilities.
