This U.S.-based site is a center of excellence within a global CDMO network, specializing in high-quality, efficient packaging of solid oral dosage forms. Services include blister and bottle packaging, custom kit assembly, and full project management from concept through commercial delivery.


The Opportunity
We are seeking a strategic and entrepreneurial Business Development Manager to accelerate commercial growth across North America. This is a high-impact, client-facing role focused on identifying, securing, and expanding packaging partnerships within the pharmaceutical and life sciences sectors. You'll serve as a trusted advisor to clients and a key voice in shaping the site's growth strategy in the U.S. market.


Key Responsibilities

  • Drive revenue through new business development focused on pharmaceutical packaging services.

  • Create and execute territory sales strategies across a defined portfolio of current and prospective clients.

  • Present capabilities in a compelling and consultative way to senior stakeholders across pharma and biotech.

  • Act as a client advocate, managing relationships, coordinating business reviews, and ensuring a seamless customer experience.

  • Lead contract negotiations in collaboration with legal and site operations teams.

  • Represent the company at key North American trade shows and industry events.

  • Ensure all business development activities align with regulatory and quality standards, including cGMP and FDA.


Your Background

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Life Sciences, or a related field.

  • Experience in sales, business development, or account management-ideally in the CDMO, packaging, or pharmaceutical services space.

  • Strong project ownership, organizational abilities, and commercial instincts.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with confidence influencing senior decision-makers.

  • Comfortable managing both strategic initiatives and day-to-day administrative tasks.

  • Ability to travel as needed, including monthly on-site visits to the packaging facility.
