Account Manager NSW - Food Ingredients

CSG Talent has an opportunity for an experienced Account Manager with a food ingredients background, to manage existing customers and focus on developing new opportunities within New South Wales.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop new business for food ingredients through the introduction of new distribution product portfolios, to new and existing customers across NSW.
- Work as an agent between suppliers and distributors, lining up commercial partnerships.
- Lead and help build a sales strategy to achieve the businesses short and long-term sales goals.
- Monitor sales performance for the product segment within ANZ, including volume, price, margin.
- Travel within NSW as and when required.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Minimum 5 years experience in food ingredients. Ingredients could include but aren't limited to: Soy Protein, Yeast Extracts, Sweeteners, Phosphates, Hydrocolloids, Fibres, Preservatives & Natural Food Colours.
- Has a background of supplying into the early stage of a food manufacturing process, ideally with a strong emphasis on bakery manufacturers.
- Degree in science, chemistry or food technology is highly desired.
- Any distribution sales experience is advantageous.
- You need to be a strong communicator, can think commercially & strategically and persistent.
