We are seeking an experienced Electrical Design Engineer with a proven track record in the aerospace and rotorcraft sector, specializing in wire harness routing, installation, and system integration.
Responsibilities of the Role:
Design and develop wire harness routing using 3D CAD software.
Create and update 2D and 3D electrical installation drawings, wiring diagrams, and schematics.
Ensure all designs meet FAA, AS50881, and AC 43.13-1B standards. Ensure all designs comply with applicable FAA and industry standards, including AC 43.13-1B, AS50881, and company specifications.
Provide hands-on support during prototype builds and testing phases (continuity checks, HiPot testing, and troubleshooting).
- Work with technicians on the hangar floor to implement and validate electrical installations on actual aircraft.
Required Qualifications:
Experience in electrical system design and harness integration in an aerospace or regulated engineering environment.
Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Aerospace Engineering. Minimum undergraduate GPA of 3.0 required (transcripts required).
Strong CAD design experience.
- Willing to work on-site 100% of the time.
