Water Business Lead

A leading, fast-growing civil engineering consulting firm is seeking an experienced Business Team Leader to establish and grow its Water Services practice in Colorado.

This is a high-impact, entrepreneurial leadership role - ideal for someone who wants to build a regional business, lead from the front, and shape a team in a thriving market.

The Opportunity

You'll take ownership of developing and leading a water/wastewater team, driving both project delivery and business growth across Colorado.

Projects will span:

• Water and wastewater treatment facilities
• Water distribution (pumping and storage)
• Wastewater collection systems
• Regional water supply planning

Key Responsibilities

• Lead business development efforts and build strong client relationships
• Develop and execute a Colorado market business plan
• Drive project pursuits and revenue growth alongside marketing teams
• Build and lead a team of Project Managers and engineers
• Oversee project delivery with a focus on quality, risk management, and profitability
• Act as a technical leader and advisor on complex water projects

What We're Looking For

Required:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental, or related Engineering field
• 8+ years of experience in water/wastewater engineering
• 3+ years leading teams
• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in Colorado

Preferred:

• 10+ years working with municipal water/wastewater clients
• Strong track record in business development and client growth
• Experience leading multidisciplinary infrastructure projects
• Background in design and delivery of treatment, collection, or distribution systems
