We are working with a leading poultry manufacturing company with a proud history of delivering safe, high-quality products to our customers. Committed to innovation, sustainability, and operational excellence, we are seeking a visionary Vice President of Operations to drive the next phase of our growth.

Role Overview
As VP of Operations, you will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end operations of our poultry manufacturing facilities, including production, supply chain, quality, safety, and engineering. You will develop and execute operational strategies that enhance efficiency, profitability, and scalability, while maintaining the highest standards of food safety and compliance. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will play a pivotal role on the executive leadership team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement the company's operational strategy, aligned with business objectives and growth targets.

  • Oversee multi-site plant operations, ensuring safety, quality, and productivity benchmarks are consistently achieved.

  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives through lean manufacturing, automation, and best practices.

  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, including HACCP, USDA, GMP, and environmental standards.

  • Manage budgets, forecasts, and capital investments to maximize ROI.

  • Build, mentor, and lead high-performing teams across all operational functions.

  • Partner with cross-functional leaders in Sales, Finance, HR, and R&D to ensure operational excellence supports company goals.

  • Champion a culture of accountability, collaboration, and innovation.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Food Science, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.

  • 15+ years of progressive leadership experience in food manufacturing, with at least 7 years in poultry or protein processing.

  • Proven track record managing large-scale operations and multi-site facilities.

  • Strong knowledge of food safety regulations, compliance, and industry best practices.

  • Exceptional leadership, strategic planning, and change management skills.

  • Demonstrated success in driving operational efficiency, cost savings, and sustainable growth.

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
