  • Maintain accountability for capital expenditure across regions, ensuring adherence to governance, controls, and financial policies.

  • Direct the full construction lifecycle, including pre-construction planning, procurement strategy, contractor selection, build execution, commissioning, and final close-out.

  • Ensure delivery outcomes meet customer expectations and that feedback informs future project development.

  • Serve as a senior advisor and integrator, driving collaboration across development, finance, operations, sales, and other internal stakeholders.

  • Oversee execution of development programs from initial planning through operational handover.

  • Manage internal resources and third-party project management capacity to align with project demand and schedules.

  • Foster a collaborative, high-performance team culture through active leadership and constructive feedback.

  • Conduct performance evaluations, provide coaching, and support professional development across the construction organization.

  • Contribute to the development of campus-level and project-specific capital budgets alongside senior leadership.

  • Support commercial teams during customer engagements and ensure construction delivery aligns with contractual lease obligations.

  • Partner with finance and cost management functions to manage forecasting, variance analysis, contractor agreements, and project authorizations.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with contractors, consultants, and vendors, including qualification and ongoing performance management.

  • Capture and apply lessons learned to continuously improve delivery standards and efficiency.

  • Produce regular executive-level reporting on cost, schedule, risk, and performance.

  • Develop financial models, review contractor proposals, and assess major trade bid packages.

  • Provide expert cost planning, estimating, and commercial input to support new developments.

  • Coordinate closely with operations teams to align design, construction, and live-site operational requirements.

  • Support program-level pre-construction cost optimization and value engineering initiatives.

  • Identify and communicate cost drivers, site-specific risks, savings opportunities, and alternative technical solutions.

  • Undertake additional responsibilities as required by senior management.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Extensive leadership experience in construction management, typically 10-15 years minimum, with deeper experience preferred.

  • Demonstrated background delivering data center or other mission-critical facilities.

  • Strong hands-on experience across both CSA and MEP scopes.

  • Proven ability to manage complex, large-scale construction programs from concept through completion.

  • Advanced knowledge of cost planning, estimating, and capital budget control.

  • Highly developed leadership, team-building, and performance management capabilities.

  • Strong cross-functional coordination and stakeholder management skills.

  • Excellent project management discipline and attention to detail.

  • Clear, confident communicator with strong interpersonal skills.

  • Willingness to travel extensively, with expectations of frequent domestic and international travel.
