Vice President of Sales - Mass Market (Walmart & Target)

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly strategic, results-driven, and entrepreneurial Vice President of Sales to lead our mass market retail business, with a primary focus on managing and growing our partnerships with Walmart and Target. This role requires a visionary leader who can combine data-driven sales strategy with an entrepreneurial mindset to unlock growth, drive operational excellence, and deliver exceptional retail execution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Account Leadership: Own and lead the commercial strategy, execution, and growth of our Walmart and Target accounts
- Business Development: Identify white space opportunities, drive incremental revenue, and lead joint business planning with key stakeholders at Walmart and Target.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, operations, finance, supply chain, and product to ensure aligned objectives and flawless execution.
- Team Leadership: Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing sales team focused on the mass retail channel. Develop talent and foster a performance-driven culture.
- P&L Ownership: Manage full P&L responsibility for the Walmart and Target business segments, ensuring sales targets and margin goals are consistently met.
- Data-Driven Insights: Leverage data and retail analytics to inform decision-making, optimize promotional strategies, and identify category trends and consumer insights.
- Entrepreneurial Execution: Champion a test-and-learn approach to drive innovation in pricing, merchandising, and new product launches.
Qualifications:
- 12+ years of progressive sales leadership experience, with at least 5+ years managing national accounts, specifically Walmart and Target.
- Proven track record of delivering revenue growth and managing 8- to 9-figure P&Ls.
- Deep understanding of the retail ecosystem, buyer dynamics, and omnichannel strategies.
- Entrepreneurial thinker with a strong bias for action, agility, and experimentation.
- Strong strategic planning, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and team development abilities.
- Bachelor's degree required; MBA preferred.
