Transmission Project Engineering Manager

We are looking for a Project Engineering Manager - Overhead Transmission Line and lead the delivery of diverse, high-impact projects across the U.S.

🔹 The Opportunity

In this role, you'll:

• Lead and mentor multi-discipline engineering teams

• Manage project budgets, schedules, and design quality

• Oversee overhead transmission line projects (69kV and above) from concept through delivery

• Engage directly with clients, supporting proposals, business development, and long-term partnerships

• Provide technical expertise in structural design, foundations, framing, and materials

• Travel occasionally for client meetings, design reviews, and site visits

🔹 What We're Looking For

• 10+ years' experience in high-voltage overhead transmission line design (utility or consultancy)

• Strong knowledge of PLS-CADD, structural loading design, and transmission structures (steel, wood, laminate, composite; lattice tower experience is a plus)

• EPC or design services project leadership experience

• Proven ability to mentor and train junior engineers (developing internal guides, training content, etc.)

• Excellent communication and client-facing leadership skills

• Bachelor's in Civil or Structural Engineering (Electrical or Mechanical considered)

• P.E. License highly preferred
