Test Technician-Supervisor

Test Technician-Supervisor - on-site, Northeast Philadelphia area

CSG Talent is currently partnering with a global leader in technical consulting & engineering for the electrical power sector, specialising in independent high power testing, inspection, and certification services for the electricity industry.

This role is a Technician-Supervisor role focused on supervising and coordonating daily activities of the Test Technicians team.We are looking for someone with leadership experience and industry experience.

This position may require alternative shifts as necessary including weekends. You may be required to work overtime as necessar.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily activities of Test Technicians to ensure timely and accurate executions of tasks
• Providing training, guidance, and technical expertise to the team
• Foster a culture of safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement
• Monitor team performance, provide constructive feedback, and identify developmental opportunities
• Track progress of testing projects and ensure deadlines are met
• Maintain records of team activities, training, and certifications
• Ensure all test setup, equipment, and fixtures are prepared according to test requirements

Requirements

• 5 years' experience in industrial or commercial electrical construction
• Previous leadership or supervisory experience
• High and medium voltage electrical/mechanical equipment maintenance and installations
• Strong understanding of electrical and mechanical technical drawings specifications
• Ability to troubleshootand resolve equipment malfunctions or performance issues
• Demonstrated ability to lead and develop a team in high-pressure environments
• Strong organisational and time management skills
