Role Overview
We are seeking a driven and commercially minded Technical Sales Manager to grow the customer base while delivering exceptional technical support across a diverse product portfolio. This role combines business development, key account management, and hands-on technical service, ensuring customers receive both commercial value and expert formulation guidance. A highly attractive uncapped commission scheme is in place, rewarding strong performance and long-term account growth.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development & Sales Growth
- Identify, develop, and convert new business opportunities across targeted food, beverage, and nutraceutical markets
- Build and execute a structured sales pipeline to achieve and exceed revenue targets
- Develop long-term relationships with manufacturers, formulators, and procurement teams
- Represent the business at trade shows, customer meetings, and industry events
Technical Customer Support
- Act as the primary technical contact for customers using company products
- Provide formulation guidance, product application advice, and troubleshooting support
- Work closely with R&D and internal technical teams to deliver tailored solutions
- Support product trials, sample evaluations, and customer onboarding
Account Management
- Manage and grow key accounts, ensuring strong customer retention and satisfaction
- Understand customer needs and identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities
- Maintain accurate CRM records, forecasts, and pipeline reporting
Commercial & Strategic Input
- Negotiate pricing, contracts, and commercial terms in line with company strategy
- Provide market intelligence and competitor feedback to support product development
- Contribute to sales strategy and business growth planning
