Technical Product Manager

CSG are partnered with a leading company in the critical minerals refining and sustainable materials sector to identify a Technical Product Manager to drive the development of beneficiation plant solutions. This is a hands on technical role focused on bringing innovative industrial equipment from concept to full scale deployment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the engineering and product development of physical processing & beneficiation equipment used in Critical minerals refining .

• Define and communicate product vision, development roadmap, and strategic priorities across internal and external stakeholders.

• Manage technical design and engineering work streams, including schematic review, BOM validation, vendor queries, and technical risk assessments.

• Collaborate with R&D, project execution, and business development teams to ensure scalable, safe, and cost effective solutions.

• Standardise engineering processes to improve quality, efficiency, and maintainability.

• Mentor and guide engineers, fostering technical excellence and innovation.

• Support field testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting activities as needed.

Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical or Process Engineering

• Proven experience in product management, engineering leadership, or design engineering preferably in industrial plant equipment or hydrometallurgical technologies.

• Solid understanding of mechanical design, P&IDs, material strength, and machining standards.

• Proficiency in CREO, AutoCAD and FEM analysis

• Strong project management skills, capable of prioritising and delivering on multiple tasks.

• Excellent communication skills in English, German proficiency is advantageous.

• Willingness to travel occasionally to support projects or client sites.
