Superintendent Exploration

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Exploration Superintendent to lead a high-performing team in the South Atlantic states.The successful candidate will oversee regional exploration, resource definition, and core processing functions while fostering a high-performing, collaborative team environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Contribute to the development of exploration principles, strategy, standards, and plans.
• Lead and manage the discovery function, including regional exploration, near-mine resource definition, and the team of technicians and core processing personnel.
• Mentor and guide a team of geologists and technicians, fostering a culture of high performance and engagement.
• Maintain effective relationships with government authorities, landholders, and other stakeholders, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Provide high-level technical leadership in geological data collection, interpretation, and analysis.
• Oversee the planning and execution of geological mapping, geochemical, and geophysical sampling programs.
• Prioritise and rank exploration targets based on geological, geochemical, and geophysical data.
• Ensure high-quality reporting and compliance with geological, tenement, and environmental mandates.
• Manage contractor and consultant relationships in support of exploration and resource definition efforts.
