Superintendent

CSG have partnered with a leading heavy civil and infrastructure construction general contractor in Colorado Springs, CO. Our client has a long standing reputation of delivering high quality projects in complex public and private sector projects, including roadways, bridges, utilities, and site development.

The firm is rapidly expanding and having recently secured a number of major projects in the Colorado Springs region is looking to hire an experienced Superintendent.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and supervise all field activities for civil infrastructure projects including grading, excavation, utilities, paving, and structures.
• Lead and motivate field crews to achieve productivity and safety goals.
• Ensure work is performed in compliance with plans, specifications, and safety regulations.
• Coordinate scheduling and delivery of materials, equipment, and subcontractors.
• Conduct daily job site inspections and meetings; maintain accurate records and site logs.
• Communicate effectively with project managers, engineers, inspectors, and clients.
• Assist in developing and updating construction schedules.
• Identify and resolve field issues, RFIs, and potential change orders promptly.
• Enforce company policies, safety protocols, and quality assurance standards.
• Monitor project costs and report progress to the Project Manager.

Key Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in civil construction supervision (roadways, site development, utilities, etc).
• Proven leadership and communication skills in managing diverse field teams.
• Strong knowledge of construction drawings, specifications, and schedules.
• Proficient in project management and construction software (e.g., Procore, HCSS, or similar).
• OSHA 30 Certification required; CPR/First Aid preferred.
• Valid driver's license.
