About

We are looking for a Structural focused Technical Services Engineer to support engineered building systems used across commercial and industrial construction projects. The role focuses on structural calculations, product performance, and correct application, providing technical confidence to customers and internal teams.

You will join a globally backed, market leading building materials manufacturer, working closely with engineering, technical, and commercial teams to ensure products are applied safely, efficiently, and in line with performance expectations.

What You'll Do

* Respond to customer technical queries relating to structural performance, including wind loading, and fixing requirements
* Use internal engineering tools and calculators to assess spans, fixing quantities, and fastening layouts
* Provide practical engineering guidance on how products should be applied to wall and roof structures
* Support coordination of new product testing and assist with engagement of external laboratories
* Review and interpret test outcomes to support product validation and performance claims
* Contribute to technical reports, bulletins, presentation packs, and customer facing technical material
* Assist internal sales and specification teams by providing clear technical input

What You Bring

* Degree qualification in Structural, Civil, or Mechanical Engineering
* Experience in an engineering or technical role
* Confidence with structural calculations and engineering judgement
* Clear communication skills and a practical, problem solving mindset
