We're partnered a fast-growing space technology company, based in Los Angeles, CA focused on radically accelerating satellite design, engineering, and deployment using AI-enabled automation and digital twin technology.
Their mission is to overhaul traditional satellite development by replacing slow, manual processes with autonomous, physics-anchored, AI-driven systems that produce optimized, mission-tailored satellites with faster schedules and lower cost.

They're looking to hire a Structural Dynamics Engineering Specialist with hands-on experience with satellite jitter and micro-vibration analysis and understands Line-of-Sight stability as a system-level problem- bridging structures, GNC, and optical payload performance.

You'll own jitter budgets, develop high-fidelity FEM-to-GNC workflows, and lead CSI and micro-vibration analysis for next-generation platforms.

Key skills and background required:

• Structural dynamics & micro-vibration (jitter) analysis for spacecraft and optical payloads
• Line-of-Sight (LoS) stability prediction and verification
• Control-Structure Interaction (CSI) between flexible structures and GNC systems
• Frequency-domain & time-domain analysis (PSDs, FFTs, transient response)
• Proven jitter analysis experience on spacecraft
• Strong background in Nastran / Simcenter, FEM & model reduction
• Python and/or MATLAB for large-scale analysis and internal tool development
• The ability to clearly explain technical results working closely with customers
