CSG is currently partnered with an innovative aerospace company developing one of the world's largest autonomous, hybrid-electric cargo aircraft. This is a rare opportunity to join a team at the forefront of reshaping global logistics - tackling bold engineering challenges with autonomy, electrification, and scale.

They're now looking to bring on an experienced Staff Mechanical Engineer with a strong background in composite and metallic airframe design. You'll lead everything from preliminary concepts through to production and testing - collaborating across disciplines (electronics, flight sciences, manufacturing) and directly impacting flight hardware.

Responsibilities:
* Lead design of primary structure, mechanisms, and housings
* Work on both concept and detailed CAD design
* Interface with internal teams, vendors, and contractors to realize builds
* Develop test infrastructure, support flight testing, and document for certification
* Solve complex problems in a fast-moving and highly collaborative environment

Requirements:
* 8+ years in aerospace or automotive mechanical design
* Composite and metallic structure design experience
* Strong CAD (ideally CATIA/3DEXPERIENCE)
* Experience with safety-critical hardware
* Great communication and planning skills
* Experience with large eVTOL aircraft or hybrid propulsion
* Rapid prototyping know-how
* Familiarity with aviation certification standards
