Staff Electrical Engineer

As a Staff Electrical Engineer, you'll take the lead on the electrical systems architecture, implementation, and integration of high-voltage powertrain systems. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, startup-style environment and wants to see their work make a direct and tangible impact.

Requirements:

• Design and develop high-voltage battery systems, power electronics, and hybrid-electric propulsion components.

• Lead hands-on integration and testing of electrical systems on the aircraft.

• Conduct system trade studies and make data-driven design recommendations.

• Collaborate cross-functionally in architecture planning and product development.

• Manage technical documentation, drawings, and prototype manufacturing.

Requirements:

• 10+ years as a hands-on Electrical Engineer (BSc/MSc in Electrical Engineering).

• Deep experience with 400-800V systems, power electronics, safety, and thermal management.

• Knowledge of hybrid electric propulsion: inverters, generators, brushless motors, motor control.

• Background in demanding environments (aerospace or automotive - thermal, vibration, etc).

• Ability to translate product requirements into robust technical solutions and deliver on schedule.

• Aviation certification experience.

• Background in electric/hybrid performance vehicles (FSAE, Solar Car, etc).

• Experience with diverse battery chemistries and BMS.
