Senior Business Development Manager

Location: Remote (Preferred: AZ / NY / NJ / CA / FL / TX)

Position Summary

CSG are partnered with a rapidly growing CDMO in the wellness and consumer health space, who are seeking a Senior Business Development Manager to drive regional commercial growth. This role plays a key part in a high-performing business development team responsible for identifying, securing, and expanding partnerships with innovative brands across wellness, beauty, performance nutrition, and plant-based health categories.

This is a strategic role combining new business acquisition, client relationship development, and market positioning within some of the most trend-driven consumer regions in North America.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive new business growth by identifying, engaging, and onboarding five new strategic brand partners per year.

  • Promote and tailor modular manufacturing solutions across clean-label, vegan, and sustainable product categories.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams - including R&D, regulatory, packaging, and marketing - to develop client-specific go-to-market strategies.

  • Lead the introduction of new CDMO/ODM product lines to CPG companies, DTC brands, direct-selling organizations, and private-label retailers.

  • Represent the company at major trade shows, innovation forums, and ecosystem events to elevate brand visibility and positioning.

  • Maintain expertise on regional consumer trends, regulatory requirements (e.g., Prop 65, vegan certifications, sustainability-related labeling), and integrate insights into business strategy

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Marketing, Nutrition, Business, or a related field.

  • 5-10 years of business development experience within supplements, beauty, functional beverages, or adjacent consumer health sectors.

  • Proven history of delivering multi-million-dollar revenue growth through strategic BD planning and execution.

  • Deep understanding of regional wellness markets, including innovation cycles, buyer behavior, and compliance expectations.

  • Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management abilities.

  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for innovation and building scalable growth models.
