THE ROLE

This role plays a key part in driving project-based growth, working closely with architects, designers, specifiers, and contractors to ensure the right products are selected, specified, and delivered across commercial fit-out and new build work.

You'll be focused on both winning new business and growing existing relationships, with a clear focus on the specification market. It's about getting in early on projects, influencing decisions, and seeing it through from concept to completion-while keeping client satisfaction, design integrity, and technical performance front of mind.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Build and manage strong relationships with key stakeholders across design, construction, and procurement
  • Lead product presentations, run project meetings, and respond to specification briefs
  • Identify new business opportunities across the commercial interiors space
  • Maintain a clean, strategic sales pipeline using CRM tools
  • Work closely with internal teams to keep product in spec, manage stock requirements, and meet project timelines
  • Stay up to date with trends in design, building, and sustainability

WHAT YOU BRING

  • Proven experience in a sales or specification role - ideally within interiors, finishes, or construction products
  • A strong understanding of the commercial project cycle and the role of specifiers
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills-you're confident, professional, and relatable
  • Highly organised with solid follow-up habits and a proactive mindset
  • Comfortable using CRM systems and digital tools to stay on top of workflow
  • A natural interest in product, materials, design, and architecture
