Sourcing Manager

We are seeking an experienced Sourcing Manager to lead supplier development and procurement for a fast-growing industrial manufacturing facility. This role is critical to building and improving a robust supply chain to support production and new product launches.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement supply chain and sourcing strategies aligned with the company's growth plans.

• Establish, maintain, and continuously improve supplier evaluation, development, and classification systems.

• Identify and onboard new suppliers, ensuring compliance with internal standards and policies.

• Set and deliver annual cost-reduction targets, creating clear work plans and task breakdowns.

• Assess suppliers' capabilities from early project stages through mass production (APQP to PPAP).

• Monitor raw material price trends and perform monthly cost analyses and controls.

• Support cross-functional teams during new product development, providing supplier technical assistance.

• Organise and conduct on-site supplier audits and coordinate internal departments for sample trials and validations.

• Take corrective actions with underperforming suppliers, including warning, assistance, or removal based on performance evaluations.

Requirements

• Proven experience in sourcing, procurement, or supply chain management within manufacturing (preferably heavy/construction equipment, automotive, or industrial components).

• Strong knowledge of supplier evaluation, APQP/PPAP processes, and cost-management practices.

• Ability to work cross-functionally with engineering, quality, and production teams.

• Excellent negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills.

• Fluency in English (Polish or other European languages a plus).
