The Role

As Software Engineering Lead/Manager, you'll take ownership of the full software stack from firmware through ROS2 middleware to UI/UX while leading a growing team of talented engineers. This is a genuine leadership role: you'll run projects, interface directly with clients and stakeholders, translate requirements into deliverables, and stay hands-on when it counts.

You'll work across:

• ROS2 middleware and Linux-based systems
• Unity-based UI (transitioning to web-based UI)
• Docker/containerised environments
• Firmware review and support
• Sensor fusion, SLAM, and related inspection technologies
• Mechanical, electrical, and software integration end-to-end

What We're Looking For

• Strong hands-on ROS2 experience
• Familiarity with Unity and/or modern web UI frameworks
• Solid Linux and Docker/container experience
• Comfort reviewing and supporting firmware-level work
• Proven experience leading engineering teams and projects
• Strong stakeholder and client-facing communication skills
• Ability to move fluidly between strategic leadership and hands-on technical work
