Senior Vice President, North East Operations

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Vice President of Operations to lead a large regional division of a national outdoor building products distributor. Reporting directly to the President, this executive will oversee 100+ branch locations across the North East, with $1-2B in annual revenue.

This role offers full P&L ownership, responsibility for regional strategy, and leadership of a high-performing team. The successful candidate will balance operational excellence with growth, safety, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and develop regional leadership teams to achieve operational, sales, and financial goals.

• Drive profitability through effective forecasting, resource allocation, and performance management.

• Establish and monitor KPIs across operations, ensuring efficiency and scalability.

• Champion a strong safety culture with consistent processes and compliance.

• Partner with vendors, suppliers, and customers to deliver solutions and resolve challenges.

• Work with the executive team to design and implement policies, infrastructure, and reporting systems that support long-term growth.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of executive leadership in operations, distribution, or supply chain.

• Proven success managing large-scale operations with P&L >$500M.

• Strong financial and commercial acumen.

• Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to influence across all levels.

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations, or related field (MBA preferred).
