Senior Transportation Manager - FMCG

As the Senior Transportation Manager, you will take ownership of end-to-end transportation and logistics operations with a focus on strategic efficiency, cost management, and regulatory compliance. This role demands a forward-thinking leader who can forecast labor needs, prepare for seasonal fluctuations, and drive continuous improvement across supply chain activities.

You'll be responsible for leading a high-performing transportation team, guiding daily operations such as fleet oversight, route optimization, and delivery execution. Working closely with cross-functional partners, you'll implement and leverage Transportation Management Systems (TMS) and related technologies to enhance visibility, performance metrics, and overall productivity.

A key part of the role includes refining operational strategies, managing transportation budgets, securing favorable vendor and carrier contracts, and ensuring compliance with all safety and regulatory requirements. Your expertise will be critical in creating a resilient, agile logistics function that supports organizational growth and delivers superior service to customers.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Transportation, Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, or related field

• 3-4 years of leadership experience in transportation/logistics within consumer goods

• Proficiency in TMS, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office suite

• Solid understanding of transportation regulations, safety protocols, and fleet operations

• Strong financial acumen, especially in transportation P&L and cost control
