Senior Structural Engineer

Position Overview:
The Senior Structural Engineer is responsible for designing, constructing, and executing structural projects. This role involves analysing complex issues, evaluating multiple solutions, and applying engineering judgement to achieve results within broad policies and practices. Solutions typically require six to twelve months to implement. The engineer operates with minimal supervision, determining their approach to problem-solving while ensuring objectives are met. Frequent collaboration with internal teams, clients, and vendors is required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Apply engineering principles, material knowledge, and construction techniques to project execution.
• Develop cost estimates, project schedules, and define budgets and scopes.
• Conduct evaluations, adapt standard techniques, and oversee structural design for concrete, masonry, wood, and steel structures.
• Prepare reports, studies, plans, specifications, and cost estimates for bidding and construction.
• Provide technical guidance, review work for accuracy, and mentor junior engineers.
• Participate in client proposals and presentations.
• Monitor project activities and communicate updates across the organisation.

Qualifications:

• PE (or Peng) Licence
• Minimum 10 + year's experience
