My client is a leading household name when it comes to the D-I-Y and Electrical industry and are now looking for a sales Manager to cover their Nordic region. They are currently going through a period of substantial growth and are looking to bring an extra member into their team.

The role

As the Sales Manager - Nordics region you will be responsible for developing new business within the D-I-Y market. You will create a business plan to outline revenue and growth goals whilst creating a strategy to meet these goals. You will manage larger key customer accounts and act as the first point of contact.

Key responsibilities

  • Develop new business within the D-I-Y market
  • Create a business plan including targeted revenue and growth
  • Liaising with marketing to co-ordinate business activities
  • Act as the first point of contact for various DIY accounts and distributors
  • Build up key customer relationships and long term partnerships
  • Reporting directly to board

Ideal Candidate

You will already be a successful Sales Manager - Nordics regions for an electronic, robotic or D-I-Y business. You will be confident in creating a business vision and always working towards this. You will be able to manage key accounts and will be able to collaborate with cross functional teams of experts. You must have the ability to build strong business and personal relationships whilst developing profitable account growth.

Key requirements

  • Experience within D-I-Y, Robotics or Electrical Products
  • Experience of managing a Nordic region or similar regions within this
  • Be able to demonstrate key account growth with previous customers
  • Have strong relationship building skills
  • Be able to outline a detailed business plan
  • Knowledge of forecasting
  • Ability to manage account P&L, including marketing and promotional budgets
  • Ability to keep up to date with the latest market trends
