Senior Project Manager

A highly regarded, boutique client-side project management consultancy is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to join a growing Sydney team. The business delivers high-quality projects across education, health, aged care and institutional sectors.

This role offers the opportunity to take ownership of projects end-to-end, working closely with clients, consultants and contractors to ensure successful delivery from early planning through to completion and handover.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead full project lifecycle delivery from feasibility, design and procurement through to construction, commissioning and close-out
• Manage project planning, programming, scheduling and risk management
• Oversee consultant coordination and design management to ensure alignment with scope, budget and quality objectives
• Manage contractor procurement, tender evaluations, negotiations and contract administration
• Control project budgets, cost plans, forecasting and reporting
• Monitor construction progress, quality, safety and compliance outcomes
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, contractors and key stakeholders
• Ensure projects are delivered in line with relevant safety, environmental and regulatory requirements

Ideal Experience

• Demonstrated experience as a Project Manager or Senior Project Manager within a client-side consultancy or property development environment
• Strong understanding of design and construction delivery processes
• Proven ability to manage multimillion-dollar construction projects
• Excellent stakeholder management, leadership and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, professional environment
• Tertiary qualifications in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture or a related discipline preferred
