Senior Project Manager - Healthcare

Position: Healthcare Superintendent
Location: Austin, TX

Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Healthcare Superintendent to oversee field operations for construction and renovation projects in active medical‑facility environments in the Austin area. You'll ensure site logistics, safety, quality, and schedule compliance so projects are delivered on time and within budget while minimizing disruption to healthcare services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage all phases of construction: site start‑up, scheduling, execution, close‑out.

• Coordinate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and healthcare facility staff.

• Ensure compliance with infection control protocols, life‑safety standards and healthcare‑specific MEP systems.

• Lead the on‑site team: superintendents, foremen, trade contractors, vendors.

• Maintain project documentation, track changes, manage budget/contract obligations.

• Conduct frequent site inspections, enforce quality control and job‑site safety standards.

Qualifications:

• Proven superintendent experience in healthcare construction (or very similar, live facility) settings.

• Strong knowledge of healthcare‑specific protocols (ICRA, interim life safety) and regulatory requirements.

• Ability to coordinate complex MEP systems and work within live or partially operational facility settings.

• Excellent leadership, communication and stakeholder‑management skills.

• Proficiency with construction management and scheduling software (e.g., Primavera P6, Procore, etc).

Compensation & Benefits:

• Typical market salary in Austin: approx. $100,000‑$125,000+ per year depending on experience.
