Location: Orlando, Florida

A leading electrical contracting firm in Orlando is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to oversee high-value commercial construction projects. This pivotal role involves full lifecycle project leadership-ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery while maintaining strict quality and safety standards. Key Responsibilities

  • Lead multiple complex commercial electrical projects from initiation through closeout.

  • Define project objectives, scope, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.

  • Direct scheduling, budgeting, resource allocation, procurement, and contractor coordination.

  • Review technical drawings, specifications, and cost estimates to ensure project alignment.

  • Prepare and present project proposals, schedules, and billing documents.

  • Manage subcontractor relationships and ensure regulatory and safety compliance.

  • Conduct job site visits, monitor progress, and implement adjustments as needed.

  • Oversee project documentation and support field teams with real-time issue resolution.

  • Train and guide team members, conduct performance evaluations, and foster a collaborative work environment

Qualifications

Must-Have:

  • 5 years of experience managing commercial electrical projects valued at $10M+.

  • Strong knowledge of building and electrical codes (local and national).

  • Proficient in project management software (e.g., Bluebeam, estimating tools, MS Office).

  • Skilled in contract negotiation, budgeting, and construction documentation.

  • Valid Florida driver's license and ability to travel locally as required.

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.

Preferred:

  • Associate or bachelor's degree in a related field.

  • Bilingual capabilities a plus.

  • Completion of a certified electrical apprenticeship.

  • OSHA 10 certification.

  • Florida journeyman or master electrician license.
