Senior Project Manager - Electrical Construction

About the Role
A leading electrical contracting firm in Orlando is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to oversee high-value commercial construction projects. This pivotal role involves full lifecycle project leadership-ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery while maintaining strict quality and safety standards. Key Responsibilities
Lead multiple complex commercial electrical projects from initiation through closeout.
Define project objectives, scope, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
Direct scheduling, budgeting, resource allocation, procurement, and contractor coordination.
Review technical drawings, specifications, and cost estimates to ensure project alignment.
Prepare and present project proposals, schedules, and billing documents.
Manage subcontractor relationships and ensure regulatory and safety compliance.
Conduct job site visits, monitor progress, and implement adjustments as needed.
Oversee project documentation and support field teams with real-time issue resolution.
Train and guide team members, conduct performance evaluations, and foster a collaborative work environment
Qualifications
Must-Have:
5 years of experience managing commercial electrical projects valued at $10M+.
Strong knowledge of building and electrical codes (local and national).
Proficient in project management software (e.g., Bluebeam, estimating tools, MS Office).
Skilled in contract negotiation, budgeting, and construction documentation.
Valid Florida driver's license and ability to travel locally as required.
High school diploma or GED equivalent.
Preferred:
Associate or bachelor's degree in a related field.
Bilingual capabilities a plus.
Completion of a certified electrical apprenticeship.
OSHA 10 certification.
Florida journeyman or master electrician license.
