Network Security Engineer, Federal
United States (Remote)
U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Residency Required
We are partnering with a market-leading cybersecurity software company that specializes in helping organizations understand, prioritize, and reduce exposure across complex hybrid environments.
Trusted by large enterprises and U.S. government agencies, this organization delivers technology that turns network complexity into clear, actionable security outcomes.
They are seeking a Network Security Engineer to join their Professional Services team, focused on deploying a flagship exposure management platform into real customer environments and ensuring it drives measurable reduction in risk, not just dashboards and reports.
This position sits at the intersection of network engineering, security operations, and automation. You will work directly with customers to deploy the platform, integrate it into existing security workflows, and help teams make faster, better-informed security decisions.
You'll be equally comfortable deep in network architecture as you are explaining risk and remediation paths to security leadership.
Deploy and optimize a network exposure management platform across on-prem, cloud, and hybrid environments
Model L2-L3 networks, routing, segmentation, and security controls
Identify exploitable attack paths, control gaps, and exposure concentration
Integrate with ITSM platforms, SIEM/SOAR tools, and cloud services
Build automations using Python, REST APIs, and low-code tools
Normalize and enrich data using JSON, YAML, and XML
Produce reusable, well-documented integrations
Lead technical workshops, working sessions, and remediation sprints
Deliver training and create repeatable documentation
Own delivery success for assigned customer engagements from kickoff through completion
Strong foundation in network engineering and network security
Hands-on experience with routing, segmentation, and firewall policy
Experience deploying or supporting security platforms in enterprise environments
Working knowledge of Python, APIs, and structured data formats
Comfortable in customer-facing, consultative roles
Ability to translate technical findings into clear, business-relevant risk outcomes
Must be a U.S. citizen or lawful permanent resident
Based in the United States (remote role)
Comfortable working directly with enterprise and public-sector customers
Competitive compensation and benefits package
Flexible PTO policy
Opportunity to work on highly complex, real-world network security challenges
Collaborative, technically strong engineering culture
Clear path for professional growth within a fast-growing cybersecurity company
