We are representing a market leading national Architect firm in Los Angeles who due to significant growth, secured future projects and natural expansion, the reputable business are seeking a Job Captain.

Reporting into the Principal Architect, the established organisation delivers in specialist markets such as Multifamily, Retail, Mixed Use, Higher Education, K-12, Civic, Workplace, Hospitality and Commercial.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead coordination with consultants and project teams throughout all project phases, including site planning, conceptual design, schematic design, design development, construction documentation, permitting, and construction administration to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Produce and coordinate high-quality architectural deliverables, including Revit models, construction documents, graphic presentations, 3D renderings, and permit submission packages.
  • Collaborate closely with clients, consultants, contractors, fabricators, regulatory agencies, and internal stakeholders to manage expectations, maintain communication, and achieve project objectives.
  • Perform code research, zoning analysis, and permitting coordination to ensure compliance with applicable regulations and jurisdictional requirements.
  • Support project management activities by assisting with schedules, budgets, consultant coordination, and construction administration tasks, including site visits and shop drawing reviews.
  • Resolve complex design and technical challenges through innovative, practical solutions while leveraging internal design resources and best practices.
  • Contribute to team development and office culture through mentorship, knowledge sharing, networking initiatives, and participation in professional learning programs.

Required Qualifications

  • 3-10 years architectural experience.
  • Delivered in projects such as Multifamily, Retail, Mixed Use, Higher Education, K-12, Civic, Workplace, Hospitality and Commercial.
  • Experience of being client facing for stakeholder engagement.
  • Has previously used or is using Revit.
