Senior Exploration Geophysicist - Saudi Arabia

CSG is working with a global mining technology company to appoint a Senior Exploration Geophysicist to support and lead advanced geophysical interpretation across complex mineral exploration programs.

This role will be based in Saudi Arabia, full-time at their office in Jeddah. Some field travel will be required.

This is a technical role with responsibility for high-level geophysical processing, inversion, modelling, and interpretation. The successful candidate will act as a trusted technical advisor to customers and internal leadership, contribute to best-practice technical workflows, and process and interpret datasets.

The role

• Lead advanced interpretation of seismic, electromagnetic, gravity, magnetic, and integrated geophysical datasets

• Design and implement complex geophysical inversions and robust subsurface models

• Define and uphold best-practice processing and interpretation workflows

• Provide senior-level technical guidance to customers and internal stakeholders

• Mentor junior geophysicists and maintain high technical standards

• Some responsibility with coding & software development.

• Support major customer exploration programs and represent the organisation at industry forums

Background sought

• 10+ years' experience in mineral exploration geophysics, including technical or project leadership

• Expert knowledge of multiple geophysical methods and data integration

• Strong experience in inversion, subsurface modelling, and uncertainty analysis

• Advanced Python/coding skills for geophysical data analysis and automation

• Ability to clearly communicate complex technical concepts to senior, non-technical audiences

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Geophysics, Geology, or a related discipline (required)
