Senior Electrical Engineer

A leading multidisciplinary architecture and engineering consultancy in the is seeking a Senior Electrical (PE) to join its established building design team in Fort Worth. This role offers the chance to lead electrical design on commercial and public-sector buildings while influencing standards, mentoring junior staff, and shaping project delivery across a diverse portfolio.

What you'll lead -

• Electrical building system design from early planning to full construction documents
• Development of proposals, scopes, and fees in collaboration with senior leadership
• Regulatory coordination, permitting strategy, and risk management on active projects
• Training and mentoring staff in Revit, AutoCAD, electrical design fundamentals, and industry best practices
• Leadership of multidisciplinary design teams, ensuring complete and coordinated drawings, specifications, and bid packages
• Site evaluations and engineering decisions that reflect local conditions and long-term performance requirements
• Relationship-building with clients, municipalities, vendors, contractors, and internal teams

What you bring -

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in Texas
• 10+ years as Electrical PE
• Strong proficiency in Revit & AutoCAD
• Deep knowledge of electrical design standards, safety codes, and evolving industry practices
• Ability to run projects independently from concept to completion, managing scope, cost, time, and resources
• Confident communicator with proven leadership, delegation, and mentoring ability
