I'm currently hiring on behalf of a rapidly growing international CRO for a Senior Business Developer / Account Executive to join their International Functional Services (IFS) division. This team supports leading pharma and biotech companies by providing outsourced expertise across Data Management, Biostatistics, Clinical Monitoring, Medical Writing, Pharmacovigilance, and more.
This is a strategic commercial role focused on winning new business, managing complex sales cycles, and leading large-scale international RFPs.
Develop and execute a commercial strategy in collaboration with leadership
Prospect and convert new clients-particularly mid-sized and large Pharma/Biotech organisations
Lead RFP/RFI responses, proposals, and bid defences
Build and manage long-term client relationships
Coordinate with internal scientific and operational teams across Europe, the US, and India
Identify cross-sell opportunities in collaboration with other commercial teams
3+ years' experience in business development or B2B sales within a CRO, consultancy, or regulated environment
Strong track record managing multi-stakeholder sales processes
Familiarity with the clinical development lifecycle
Fluent in French and English
Confident communicator with a commercial mindset and strategic approach
Also open to candidates from adjacent sectors with experience in long sales cycles and solution selling in regulated markets.
