Senio Water Engineer

A leading water-focused engineering firm is seeking a Senior Water Engineer to step into a client-facing leadership role supporting public agency clients across Southern California. This position is ideal for a seasoned civil engineer with deep experience in water master planning, strong regional relationships, and an interest in bridging water resources and hydrogeology services.

The Role

This is a senior-level opportunity combining technical leadership, client management, and business development. You'll serve as a trusted advisor to cities and water districts while partnering closely with internal technical leaders to deliver integrated water solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and grow relationships with Southern California water districts and municipal agencies
• Serve as Client Service Manager for strategic water and infrastructure planning programs
• Oversee and guide water resources and utility master planning efforts
• Collaborate with hydrogeology, modeling, and environmental teams to deliver integrated solutions
• Support pursuit strategy, proposals, and long-term account growth
• Mentor and support engineers and project managers
• Represent the firm at industry events and client meetings

What We're Looking For

• 15+ years of experience in civil engineering with a focus on water resources
• Strong background in water / utility master planning
• Established relationships with Southern California cities and water districts
• California PE license (preferred)
• Experience managing public-sector clients and complex planning programs
• Hydrogeology experience or close collaboration with hydrogeology teams is a plus
• Strong communicator with a strategic, client-first mindset
